The Cardiff City Stadium

The Stadium looked awesome inside yesterday. Looking around to see a full house was great.

The singing/chants were loud and proud and saw off a full away end of Man City fans. This also puts to bed the theory that the stadium is shite for atmosphere.....its the fans that make that part!

The big screens looked awesome, what a clear picture. As did the electronic advertising boards around the middle tier. Admittedly there were a few which looked like they weren't working but only teething issues.

Men of Harlech before ko.....this was great IMO. The tempo needs looking at but, displaying the words every match will definitely get this song belted out by everyone.

The pitch looked superb.

The football we played was spot on. Don't remember it being hoofball and we're looking a lot better with our passing game. To pick a negative, it'd have to be the danger of Whitts covering left whilst Taylor tracks into the middle. Whitts looks so uncomfortable doing it and very reluctant to close his man down. But, in hindsight not much got through.

All in all, we're not just in the premier league - we are there and look every inch the part of a premier league club. It feels like a new era for Cardiff is happening and I feel very proud of it.

I hope everyone manages to enjoy this season and the type of results like yesterday.

In all seriousness, a relative of mine was walking through Galway city centre and in the main street was a cardiff city flag hanging out of an upstairs window of a pub.

Gutted I missed it!
