Sam Hammam & VIncent Tan

Sun Aug 25, 2013 7:04 pm

Tan was ecstatic today.

Sam felt we closed Man City down, they were complacent, then we took control of the game and were continually up their arses for 90 mins  :ayatollah:

Well done Malky and the Mighty Bluebirds, I felt we wanted it more than them and we got what we deserved, a fantastic, superb victory  :malky: :ayatollah:

Sorry Annis, this was Malky's and the players doing with financial help from VT. If Sam had his way we would be in administration.

I care what Sam thinks, 10 years ago Sam told me that in 10 years we would be in the Premiere League. I believed him. He told me of the plans he had for a new Stadium, I watched a historic football game in that new Stadium today. I hope Sam is as ecstatic as I am about that win today, he deserves to be!

Yea good point Sam has his faults but he knows his football. I know this sounds daft but when SH was Chairman I always thought our club was in safe hands, on the field at least. When we needed a performance we got one (Leeds FA Cup/Bristol City PO Semi) I think I saw him as our 'lucky mascot'

He is back and today as anyone who was sat near me will vouch I was absolutely confident we were going to get back into the game when we were 1-0 down.

Admittedly I didn't see 3 goals coming, but there again I put that down to my lucky mascot back in the directors box.

Pathetic post

All I've said is comments from Sam.

Wrong forum for pathetic sarcasm.

We won because of Malky's team. :malky:

Sam was the one who got the belief machine rolling. When I first went there was around 5,000-7,000 fans going. In those days you were often put behind a frigging pillar in the Ninian and had to move seats which meant you could choose any other bloody seat pretty much as the stadium was empty.

The stadium was different then. The guy next to you would be happy if he could get to the bogs and back without getting soaked in those days. Full of fans living off dreams and fantasies. Some of which came true today. Some never thought they'd see what we saw today. I never, not in a blue kit. Certainly not in a bloody red kit but there it is for us to see. Its surreal and mad.

Sam got that belief going whether you like it or not. You tell people things and they start to believe and it spread through our fan base and people started to believe. That is the truth. It was contagious. Some belittled Sam and said he was away with the fairies and he may have been but he had belief and if you never believe you never achieve. Simple as that. Tan had belief in us or he wouldn't have invested.

If Sam wanted to rip us off, he'd have done so in proper fashion so that story dont stick with me. I think he made a genuine financial mistake and would be the first to admit it and he has done. Lets just be thankful it didn't cost us our club and there was a buyer found aye.

We could talk about all the bad stuff that could have happened in any avenue of life if we wanted. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
