For those undecided about the march/could even help the team

Sun Aug 25, 2013 10:00 am

If anybody from this forum is undecided about whether they should bother coming to this march today, then PLEASE do. Every single person will make a difference in my opinion, i genuinely believe that.

And if anything, it will just get every one of us pumped up and passionate for the game, which i think could actually boost the noise levels in the stadium and help the players on the pitch. Not the opposite which some people are suggesting.

Ever since our club was robbed of its identity, a lot of us have moaned about it and i know that personally i've lost a lot of passion which i used to feel on match days. I just want it back to how it used to be. And i believe that's the same for many on here too.

I know some people have commitments they can't get out of, but for the others, no excuses, please. If everybody that's even considered going does go, then we would have thousands there and maybe then Tan will get the message and give us our colours back, our badge back, our history back... our club back.

EVERY PERSON WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

It could be now or never.

WAKE UP FOR f**k SAKE ........... !!!!!!!!!!

It will achieve nothing, piss off the owners, segregate fans and look embarrassing to the football world looking in.

'Give us our history back' we're creating history. Small price to pay, can't have it all our own way, the badge has the bluebird on it compromise occurred, now lets get on with it.

I'm going you tube a Frankie fryer rant if this doesn't pipe down.

I agree also this subject is getting tiresome and I simply don't understand why I should march against the owner because someone has 'passionate problems'

If the owners weren't here where do you think the club would be?

It's embarrassing its turned into a march and righteous crusade about insignificance in the grand scale as to what's happened.

It's not that simple and that is a gross misinterpretation. For some yes success for the club is important but so is the wellbeing of the club and how anyone can be comfortable with seeing us constantly in debt and appearing in winding up courts is beyond me.

VT offers a way out of that cycle and I for one believe in him.

VT was our last hope when we appeared in the High Court in 2010. Even if some how we had survived that PMG/Borley and the rest could-not have continued subsidising the club to the tune of £1m per month.

On the balance of probabilities we would have entered administration and started the 2010/11 season with a 10 point deduction. Added to that there would have been massive cost cutting programme where players left in droves and Langston would still be unresolved.

On the assumption there was NOT a billionaire somewhere willing to bail us out it is pretty safe to say we wouldn't be in the PL and probably not the Championship either. But the good news is we would still play in blue.

I hope it's pissing down for the protest march getting fed up of hearing about BU & the Rebrand in almost every post.

Come on now I asked you that question knowing you haven't fully thought about it!!

What's tan brought off the top of my head
Survival
Financial stability
Investment
Signings - the best the club has ever seen
Stadium training facilities - improvements top class
Strategy for sustainability - global markets
Has got rid of large debts mainly to langstone
Promotion to the premier league
Charity to the local community
Compromised with supporters to some degree

If tan hadn't come in the likelihood is we would be following rangers and Portsmouth and Coventry.

Your argument and cause is flawed.

A spot on answer but of course it will be met with the generic responses of "stripped identity" "to some blue means more than success" or the classic "should have run it past the 100 fans who went to Halifax in 1986 first"

Unless a miracle happens and it dawns on all BU supporters that their argument is completely flawed and based on nothing but bloody mindedness, then we will have to continue to listen to their pathetic excuses.

The survival and well being of Cardiff city football club means more too me and the vast majority of city fans than the rebranding and there's no escaping that fact.
