Fair play to my Dad

Sat Aug 24, 2013 11:50 pm

Many of you will know that last week he was over the moon as he had two hospitality tickets for us both behind my back as he's a Man City fan. However after me telling him about my stance he told me today that he's given the tickets away because in his words ' I just want to spend time with my son' so I'm watching the game on TV in Merthyr with him tomorrow.

In fact I can't wait to see him :ayatollah:

Too true, the distance and work commitments don't allow us to have much father-son time these days :ayatollah:

Its the social aspect with did hurt at first so I got my taxi licence and started working on a saturday afternoon which insured that if I was going to go to the football then I would lose my taxi income and also the money I would spend in going. However these days it doesn't hurt as much now asI know the boys are just a phonecall away if I need them :ayatollah:

One of the boys said last week in the Butchers that the football was the glue which kept us all together and now it can continue just by watching itin the pub.

The guy has no principles. If he did he wouldnt have bailed out on
Merthyr after years of following them home & away just cos you made some new friends in Oz.

As for spending time with Mike you dont live in Oz anymore either you live 30 mins away from him.

Havent got time to see him much my arse.
