MALKY'S WINGER TARGETS

Sat Aug 24, 2013 3:21 pm

We are aware that Malky is after a winger or two and that he has Montero and Odemwingie on his list of targets.

I see that Jires Kembo's name has entered the ring but suspect that this could be a tactic to fish out Montero, if true it is certainly a strategy that Malky has used to good effect before.

Regards Odemwingie, I understand he wishes to stay in the UK but West Brom don't want to sell to another PL club. Odemwingie wants to stay in the UK as he becomes a British Citizen in two years time.

Hopefully as we enter the final full week of the transfer window we will see activity at the CCS

And despite what has been written in the press I don't believe Malky has ever said he does not need another striker.

Even though I really don't know how close we are to any deal Wez, I would be amazed if there was not.

Agreed regarding Malky saying he wasn't in the market for another striker, he was just praising the strikers he has right now. He said he was still looking for players all across the pitch at FGR(Remember Cornelius is the only striker we've signed this transfer window) :ayatollah:

Am hearing we are in for Mohamed Salah (FC Basle) - Hope this is true (don't shoot the messenger :laughing6: ), if so it would trump all our other signings. He's a fantastic player. :ayatollah:

I saw Des Parrot mentioned his name on mikes board earlier, would be a fantastic signing if we are in for him.

Regards Odemwingie, I understand he wishes to stay in the UK but West Brom don't want to sell to another PL club. Odemwingie wants to stay in the UK as he becomes a British Citizen in two years time.

Odemwingie would then be eligible to play for Wales ?

These are the 3 players I've heard a lot about recently in terms of players being linked with us.

Sako from Wolves is another that has cropped up time and time again!
