Players Missed ?

We are still lacking a bit of quality in certain areas and MM is trying to bring in some wide men. Cannot work out why City were not interested in some 'bargain's from the list with quite a few wide men included. The large majority of these players have Premier League experience and there is no doubt that some would have improved our squad.Views?
