Those numbers mean nothing. It is all about shutting them out for 90 minutes. They wont get much out of Cardiff on Sunday. :ayatollah:

The only thing I see in that is the overpriced English players.

Navas and Silva was cheaper than Milner.

Lescott and Kompany's price tag.

When we played them in the home game (and beat them 1-0 may I add)

01 Vorm.............. £1.5m
02 Williams.......... 400k
03 Taylor..............125k
04 Caulker............ LOAN
22 Rangel............. 12k
07 Britton............ 350k
11 Sinclair........... £1m
15 Routledge ....... £1.2m
24 Allen.............. Free
42 Sigurdsson........ LOAN
10 Graham........... £3.5m

Total starting 11 cost = £8.1m (nearly a third of what yours cost)

Substitutes
25 Tremmel..... Free
05 Tate........... Free
16 Monk........... Free
17 McEachran..... Loan
27 Gower.......... Free
18 Lita............. 1.75m
19 Moore......... Free

Total cost of substitutes = £1.75m (less than half what yours cost)

And this was a team that went on to finish 11th. No excuse guys im afraid ;)

Fair play, that is impressive. Got to give the jacks credit (grudgingly) - and it only goes to show the £££ excuse will be pretty pathetic should we get creamed tomorrow

26 million for Milner - a Transit Luton in a midfield full of Ferraris...

Whoopy fooking do. Your only where you are because you screwed creditors. Had cVA been with PTs deductions you'd be in conference where you deserve to be.

No we wouldn't we would still have finished above the drop zone. Not like you to spout incorrect facts and bullshit. Pretty desperate when you have to go back 12 seasons for a bit of ammo.

I'm not quite sure what the point of this post is.

I'm pretty sure almost every team in the premier league this year cost more than 8m. So are you saying that everyone should beat Man City at home?

Didn't that same squad draw with Man Utd at home? if that is the case, considering your team this year cost considerably more, what is your excuse for losing 4-1 to them this time around?

The logic you come forward with is baffling.
