Does a child need ID to fly from Bristol

They don't need a passport but they might need id to prove their age

It depends on the airlines policy.

Some have recently changed at Cardiff to say they need to show proof of age so best to take something.

My daughters 9 years old but doesn't have a passport and i cant find her birth certificate

Children under 2 usually travel free on the lap of an adult. Over the age of 2 and they have to pay for their own seat. Child fares usually go up to age 16, after that they have to pay the adult price. That's why you should take a birth certificate if the child doesn't have a passport. You need to have some proof of age although if she's 9 you might be ok.
