Megabus Gold

I had to go to London yesterday because it was short notice then the train was completely out of the question soI took the Megabus for £10.50 return.

On the way up I went on the new Megabus Gold service and I couldn't believe how good it was. Everyone had your little compartment and free food and drink with loads of room. Unforutnately my memories of the normal Megabus service was revisited on my return journey with out of control familes from Bongo Bongo Land not giving a f**k by blocking the toliet by the coach got to the M25 and the smell was absolutely disgusting.

However I will book again on that Megabus Gold service but get it both ways next time.

Anyone else tried it..? Apprantely they have beds on the longer trips!!!

Mega bus never entered my mind but going to London for new year and won't drive and train is prob to expensive so will look into this gold service.

Honestly mate it was a great experience and a £5 one way. f**k the normal service mind I wish I stayed up there until the Gold service could get me home

Sadly Toilet drops are limited to Depots and cannot be done at service stations(due to contents)


When me and Paul CityOne went to Burnley on Megabus, Paul was dead impressed with the coach esp toilet conditions!!!
He got on in Hawick and bus only started from Edinburgh... He was less impressed on the return journey


Yes they do have beds....

Depends on Make and Model.. But many of the new designs have button in cab!!!!
