Hull the game people have forgot!!!

Thu Aug 22, 2013 9:01 pm

Most important game of our first 6 IMO

Hull city now on sale to all season ticket holders and gold members :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: . around 300 tickets left of the initial allocation of 1500. the club would need a big rise in sales for us to take the next block of a 1000 tickets where we would need to sell at least another 500 to avoid paying for the unsold ones. we have plenty of room and tickets left from our allocation ticket prices £30 adults; over 65s 16-21 £18; under 16s £10 all prices for coach on our web site http://www.ccsc.co.uk

These are the types of games where the club should help out the fans by doing subsidized travel IMO.

Its obviously not going to be high on peoples agenda's when working out the finances to be fair is it?

It doesn't help that we were there no too long ago and it is a mission of an away, but people are clamoring for tickets elsewhere if they're that desperate to see the team why not this one? i wish i could fit any away games in nevermind pick and choose

Agree its the most important game of our first 6. Its not cheap and a long trek but the lads deserve at least as many as last season there. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Because most have made trips to Hull but haven't been to Fulham?

Not bad at all taking around 1200 to Hull, it'll be more than what Fulham, Stoke etc take I guess maybe about the same, we've played em quite a bit recently so good that the interest is still there.

How old are you cal? Not saying this in a patronising way but if im right your quite young?

Maybe when your older with outgoings, financial
Commitments and a family you might understand it
A bit better.

It does, I'm sure most people would rather travel to a new ground/ a ground they haven't been to for some time rather than a ground they visited a few months ago

Yes think we need to look at where we may pick up points away from home! Stoke, Palace, sunderland etc. not sure we will get much return out of many away games this year. Even Norwich, Villa, west brom, Fullham, look formidable with their new signings now.

does it matter how old i am? anyway yeah i am quite young but i still have Uni and Car Insurance to pay for, might not cost as much as looking after a family mind! but considering Fulham and Hull are about the same price i don't see the problem if you've been there or not!

As mentioned above, as you get older priorities come into play, why go to a place you've already been? Just save up for the next game you'd go to that you haven't been to

Yes it does because its part of my point.

Football is a luxury item, like sky tv or designer clothes, when you have commitments you pick and choose your luxury items
like you choose what Football Game to attend.

It is not simply a case as you said of it doesn't matter where it is as its a Football Game. Its a day out, a new ground, a new city, a new place, a new adventure. If you are on a budget and a day out at a Football Game is a luxury item to you and you have already been to Hull it is only natural that you are likely to want to go somewhere new, in this case Fulham and not spend your hundreds of £'s going back to somewhere you have already been.

You opinion is one of a youngster who doesn't have many commitments hence why I asked how old you were and was not meant to be patronising as I said

Tbh with the 2 away games on sept I would love to do hull & fulham. But with the lack of cash I have free I need to choose & it is Fulham over Hull everytime. I agree hull is probably the more important game, but for a day out Fulham wins. If the club put on subsidised travel then the take up would be much more. Stoke have the right idea setting it up for every away game......

Hull was a great trip and something I would recommend for supporters who haven't been.

Our bus isn't running after not enough numbers in time.

Got mine and the boss's and just ordered one for my son who now luckily can make the trip.
I think a lot of us need a Premiership wake up call and need to be a bit more forward thinking, the days of leaving it until the last minute are long gone and we need a bit more forward planning.

On good thing though, is the club can reward the regular loyal travelers who manage to attend such games with priority booking when it comes to qualification for the bigger glamorous games to come, but just remember these so called less glamorous games are the ones we can help to make a difference in and hopefully help to get some points on the board. :old:

Weren't so great for me when my mates car broke down outside the Silver Cod, and had to help the stewards eject a few of there
lads from our end on a night at Boothferry a few years ago when Wales were away. We pushed his car round the corner and kept our heads down until the AA turned up afterwards.
