What's the best tactic/formation/players to get...

Sign Leandro Paredes, fantastic young player, becomes one of best in world
Sign Facunda Ferreyra for same reason as above

I always find playing a 5(3 CB's, 2 WB's)-2-1-2 works best for me.

Miguel Lopes is a good RB, Ben Turner class at CB. Kim Bo and Velikonja were instrumental in promotion and guiding me to 8th in the Prem. Whitts also comes really good.

If you get the funds, sign Marc Albrighton from Villa, he was class for me. A good cup run will get you the finds for him

7 million! How do you get that I only get 2.5 million and that is if i edit the budgets so I have no wage budget..

Im onto the year 2032 on it, Jordan Mutch is manager of Arsenal

I gave up on my fm 13 save as my board stopped giving me transfer budgets as i'd spent it all on wages!

Now my fm12 players are getting greedy too though!. My 31 year old argentine left back who's been on 72k for 5 years wants 160k!!! Absolutely fuming. I may give in though as he's my captain and the best left back in the world.

Came back with £1.2m

Finally went for just over £2m

Kiss is on loan

Got a could 00k for some youngster..

I've got this but can't get my head around it, very complex game and can't string any wins together. Currently around 10th half way throught the first season in the championship with Cardiff. Haven't played on it in a few weeks, it was getting on my nerves.

I edited my game to put my own blue Cardiff City in the Conference South and I have worked my way up to the top of the Championship, taking 6 points off FC Malaysia on the way (cue the onslaught from the red brigade!)

On a serious note, it's been a different, fun challenge working my way up the leagues and I haven't cheated by giving myself a massive budget either. By creating a new team, I had to literally sign a load of free transfers to make my team to start off. I play a narrow 4-4-2 diamond which has always worked for me, I find if you jam up the middle and play short, free flowing passing through the middle, you do very well, even with an inferior team with inferior players.

I started that as well, playing at Ninian Park when the game first came out. Got a new laptop since though and not tried it since. Might have a go though.

One thing though, I weren't qualified for the FA Cup when I was doing it, other teams in my league were though
