However, she said nothing that would change my mind. I think she and BU are hopelessly out of their depth. Do they really think they can sit down and 'educate' a $ Billionaire?
Also Jason Mohammed brought up a good point about why didn't they form straight after the rebrand was announced? Her answer was unconvincing because I remember the time well and while it was painful the thought of eventually getting this club into the PL and settling historic debt was far too tempting for the vast majority.No-one was threatened as she claimed(that really was scraping the barrel) it was simply the weight of numbers who wanted to follow VT's vision.
Finally the thought that those who went to games when we were in the lower divisions should be the only ones to determine the clubs future is quite frankly preposterous. Which games would fill the criteria? Would it be season ticket holders or away travellers and how the hell would you verify it any way?
Finally may be she should have checked to see if all attendees from those days are against the rebrand before again hi-jacking them into BU as was done with the online petition. I think she needs to get outside her bubble if she ever has any chance of making BU acceptable to all but a bloody minded few.

Exactly my thoughts on the matter, Sian Branson was seen as a saviour to help return to blue but she's no different to others except for the fact she's got a billboard and organised a few meetings. She glorifies herself, people will tell her congrats and so because they're friends of hers, she's not a celebrity or in fact a well known Cardiff fan, she is completely out of her depth. I hate her stance on fans as well, we're not the only club that has had a rapid surge of supporters lately. Why can't newer fans decide? Why can't newer fans embrace something?

I totally disagree with Gwyn Davies, and I think he sells the club short, and I wish he'd stay out the media, but he says what he thinks and he says it fairly well. It can't be fair though that Jason Mohammed does not pick holes in Gwyn's argument as well.
The rebrand is just totally ridiculous anyway, I despise it, so my mind is made up, but I pay my licence fee, and expect the BBC to chair a reasoned and fair debate.

She explained that one year ago a group of fans got together but felt intimidated by events at a meeting and subsequently disbanded. It was explained, have another listen.

Well said Tony and, in my opinion, I'm afraid Sian will have more than annoyed older fans with some of what she said today. I remember when there was no badge on our shirts and when it did eventually arrive it has been changed so many times I believe no one can claim any badge as a "Tradition" of our club. In fact there have been more years with no badge on the shirt than there have been with one - Tradition my arse.
This lot need to come down off the cross because surely someone else needs the wood.

Perhaps she felt intimidated as explained. It's irrelevant to the rights or wrongs of the issue anyway to be fair.

And the presenter is a Cardiff born Spurs plastic, is it any surprise he can't understand real football fans link to the club badge and colours. Even Gwyn admitted he wanted to be back in blue.
