I'd like to see us put up a bit of a fight and a respectable performance. Saying that city made Newcastle look like mugs and they aren't a bad team. Ill go 2-0 to them, if we're lucky

At home I can see us getting a goal.

Cardiff's season got off to a sluggish start last weekend when they tamely lost to West Ham away from home and next up is big-spending City. Mackay refuses to be overwhelmed by the prospect of facing the former champions and says the players should be looking forward to the clash. "It's more than 50 years since our club was in the top flight and we play Manchester City at home," said Mackay, speaking after his team's 2-0 defeat at West Ham. "It doesn't get much bigger than playing one of the top teams in the country. That is a hugely important day for everybody. "We have to go out and perform against a top team. There are no doubts about how tough and difficult that task will be, but my players and I relish the opportunity ahead."

I think we will lose 3-0 and it will only be 3-0 because they'll ease off on us. I honestly think Man City will win the league by a mile this season so it will be no shame getting a stuffing from them. We need to be realistic and realise this is one game we just need to get out of the way and then concentrate on starting our season properly. The only real chance I see from us scoring is from a set piece as Kompany is out.

I got a good feeling we are going to nick it. It will be like an fa cup game.
