" HISTORICAL DAY ? "

Wed Aug 21, 2013 11:59 am

I was just thinking to myself.

Historical Day ?

Many City fans have been saying and the staff at our club West Ham away last Saturday was an Historical day and we could of taken 5,000 fans.

Weird suddenly everyone wasn't skintight anymore at high prices.

To me the Historical day was away at Hartlepool away in 1986 first ever Cardiff game in the 4th Division and 540 City fans travelled that day, many on the 12hour round journey on the train with myself.
We certainly have come along way
I just hope that if ever the bad playing days return we get 27,000 at home every week and thousands away every week. Remember it's cheaper in the lower divisions so no excuses

Ill be there home and away whatever the league

Been supporting city 9 years from when I was 11 got taken to 1 game and that was it.

All through school I got so much stick from man united and liverpool 'fans' saying we was a pointless club, who's your prem team? Always said cardiff will be in the prem just got laughed at , now those people have recently asked me for tickets...

Let's make man city one to remember!

Exactly, had boys in my football team taking the piss for years and saying we're going straight down etc without knowing jack about our players. Now they text me asking how can they get Arsenal tickets etc! Fair play to one of the boys who supports Everton and tried to get in the away end and now wont go as its sold out.

Last time we played a Super Sunday, or even a game of this magnitude at home in my opinion.....

We were about to play Leeds UTD in a cup match... They were top of the prem and had just beaten a team at home on Monday night football and looked awesome...

I'm a sucker for history repeating itself!!!

My point is if we are all Cardiff City fans, there is no reason why if ever the bad times come again everyone still buys their season tickets or tickets and still turns up and supports the City whether it be Man Utd or Bury Town

The numbers will drop, just like the majority of all clubs that are relegated. If we're relegated this season, I'd be very suprised if we pull in more than 20k on a regular basis next season.

Just my opinon, of course.

Whatever division Annis, we all love the City and we will always support them, remember Luton away on Valentines night years back, easy for me to get to but what a f*cking laugh, 3-3, great atmosphere, and had to beg like f**k to get that night off.

"we're only here cos were single"

Attendances will drop below 20,000 if we go down.

Annis mate, they would leave in droves if Cardiff go down. I left this season and go and watch Chelsea and will not step inside css until they are back in blue. And you know i was there in the bad days in the lower divs and a home game for me was 320mile round trip. I did try and watch the city last season, but it was like Mufc2 and f**k that as i hate mufc. Anyway good luck with the season and we might meet on our travels.
