Ruthless

Mackay has gone on record,saying he will be ruthless,we will all see if he is a man of his word when the transfer window closes,also there has been a lot written about hoofing the ball forward,invariably giving possession back to the opposition,i have said on a few occasions that i think the long ball game is imbedded in Mackays psyche,but i also believe its embedded in a few of our players,particularly defenders,and i include Marshall in that assumption,although i have to say, he at least is trying to play the ball out from the back at times....so as to being ruthless,i will reserve my judgment until i see who Mackay has sold on or let go on a free,even loaning out a few players.....i will also judge Mackay on who he brings in before the window closes,but i cant help thinking that Tan may have a say in that,he may take the view,that he has already given the Manager a big enough war chest,now if thats the case,has Mackay spent the money wisely?
