Whilst all of us have more pressing and frankly, more important events in our lives than the rebranding of our football club, I really hope that as many Cardiff City supporters join the walk as possible. It will be great to demonstrate to Vincent Tan and the watching world media (and they will be watching) just how important the clubs historic blue and bluebird mean to its supporters, but in an entirely peaceful and respectful way.
Sure, there have been a few idiots on BU's Facebook site, as there are on most publicly accessible forums - including this one, but in 'the real world' BU have barely put a foot wrong. Three entirely peaceful, well attended events and an entirely non offensive billboard are testament to that.
I fully appreciate that Cardiff City fans have varying strengths of feeling over the loss of our traditional blue and the marginalising of the bluebird but it's still my belief that, ideally, the overwhelming majority of supporters would like to see these pivotal parts of our clubs identity restored.
If that is your viewpoint, I really hope you join me and others at Cardiff Castle this Sunday at 2pm.
Let's keep it peaceful, let's keep it respectful and let's show how much being a blue and bluebird means to us all.

Bit harsh but there we go. All about opinions![]()
Believe me, if the celebration walk is hijacked by those who just want to hurl abuse at Tan and pro reds, I'll be out too.
Why give the upper hand to those who would like to see BU fail?
If the walk is peaceful and respectful, I can see BU growing and growing, which can only be a good thing for the majority of Cardiff City supporters who wish to see our traditional identity restored.
