Only 9.43% betting on us to win and 4.17% on a draw! The 7-1 odds on the win are obviously are not that enticing.

Newcastle were 11/1 (obviously being away bumped it up) and a few people told me to have a small bet on them.
I just laughed and did over 3.5 ht/ft and Aguero anytime..had less than 10 bets up all last season, got a 3/3 record so far this season
Probably put everything I own on man city.

I done Tiote to get booked anytime 2/1 thinking he will kick one of them up in the air but couldnt get within 5 yards of Citys attacking players let alone kick em.

Before you stack a load of money against your own team, and I might get laughed at here, especially after the performance against West Ham, but I wonder if it would be worth bearing in mind what the score-line was the last time we played Man City. And we weren't even in the same division as them then.

You're right of course, and you'd have to be optimistic to the point of psychotic to even consider backing Cardiff.
However, it just doesn't sit very comfortably that you plan to put a large amount on Man City (assuming you're not joking). Surely there are a whole host of other fixtures you could look at?
I know people say it's kind of a win/win thing - if City lose, at least you've won at the bookies/if you don't win your bet, Cardiff have won, or taken a point - great.
Just not sure if that works in this situation. If you put, say, £200 on Man City (maybe more, don't know howbig a gambler you are), if for some reason it doesn't come in, it'll be quite a chunky sum to lose, and tricky joining in celebrations. Even if you had it as part of an accumulator, if that's the one that busts. it, are you really going to be feeling so great?
So the only scenario I can see you feeling happy is if Cardiff lose, and you go away with 50% of your stake.

How did this super team do last season again?
Oh yeah they got battered in the champions league and lost a major final to a championship bound side.
Thankfully none of this forum will be giving the team talk

This is why I never bet on Cardiff. Whether its win, lose, correct score, goalscorers, I never do it. Don't want betting to get in the way of me supporting City.

This gets it in perspective, if you look where Newcastle are on this relegation odds list and then think they just got beat 4.0 by City!
