Ledley a possibility now ?

If Celtic crash out of the CL could Joe Ledley become a realistic target for the City ?, it's become obvious that we need to lower our transfer expectations slightly through no fault of anyone at the club and Joe could play across the middle as well as at leftback. IMO he would be a good addition to the current squad and add genuine competition for places.

He's had it far too easy playing parks football up in Scotland.And I still haven't got over they way he shafted us when he left,so it a no from me.

He is on big wages at celtic and imo we already have enough of his type, we need pacey wide players and a good striker for competition.
The fact he can cover LB would be a bonus but not enough of one to add him to the wage bill and I don't see him as a starter week in week out.

He is better than Gunnarson, has played Champions League football. Would improve the squad but not sure what impact he would make on the first team. We don't really need anymore central midfielders. So a NO for me.

No. He rode out his contract with us, forgoing any kind of loyalty/feeling for CCFC. Why should we now rescue him from the one-team pub league that is the SPL? We may not have got them to sign, but the players we've been chasing are way above Ledley - Medel being a perfect example.

He has Champions League experience. People say he is playing poor opposition in Scotland but he always seems to rise to the task when they play in the Champions League. Celtic got to the last 16 by team work and frustrating, something we will have to do this season, and Ledley would be an astute bit of business.

We are overestimating the ability of our current players here.
