So seeing as I'm not a season ticket holder I get myself a gold membership!
Y u may ask? exactly what i was thinking,
All They give you 1st refusal on tickets and that's the best it gets,

They tell me that there is around 5000 people with gold memberships and only 2000 tickets will be sold to you,
So you are not guaranteed a ticket!
If I'm not quick enough on the phone when they go on sale or I have work and can't get to the office I miss out?

Why would you get one in your own name if you have a season ticket? The gold membership puts you on the waiting list for the new season tickets when the extra space is built. Thats the only reason I bought mine. I get comps at the moment for most games but they ain't going to last forever as the player won't be here forever so I got a gold membership and then next season or the season after I will most likely have to get a season ticket again but that's the way it goes.

I don't like the gold and silver membership,just put the spare tickets on general sale.
To be fair to the club they did give you £40worth of vouchers redeemable from the club shop.

It's a way of ensuring that the right people get the tickets.

Although, ideally they would have opened up remaining home tickets to fans on the database with a certain amount of games underneath them... Would have been a bit lighter on the pocket.

The club announced how many memberships they were selling, and how many tickets would be on sale to members long before they were issued so it's not as though the club were hiding anything.

If you dont like the conditions then dont buy the membership.

Has Everton even sold out ?

I know Man City has sold out but even that didnt go so quick that you wouldnt have been able to get on the phone unless you had a 24 hour shift in work.
