Stay on topic guys.

IMO he would have been a great signing for this season but I was just reading he I'd already 32 and signed a 3 deal. No doubt he is on big wages so thinking further ahead he may have not been such a great signing.
Malky has said before he isn't interested in signing veterans on big long contracts.

I don't know but I reckon after DJs season of expensive loans malky may have gone to tan and said give me funds and we can get a return on these players, it's not dead money like loans.

It's certainly the policy at the moment to buy good thing players who can hold or gain value on.

I'm not sure on this, I still think Parker has at least 1 if not 2 seasons left in him.. I think it's a good signing and would av been a useful player to have instead of gunnarsson. Experienced head and an international something we lacked on Saturday...

Exactly 1 maybe
Still have to pay him a lot of money the remaining year. His injury record is up and down.
For this season, ideal but contract length and together with his age and wage I'd say no

Fair point made but that one season could keep us up... Agree wages were prob high however fee was estimated around 1.5-2mil so even 50-60k a week plus I think is a small price to pay for quality and experience...

I do think you need and old head in the middle there at times...

Not shocked, always thought they'd come in for them.
