Whether you like it or not, agree or disagree, Witts when he plays in central midfield runs the game. Before he got burnt out when we went on a fantastic run last year, he was central to everything and bossed the games. When he played pre season against the Italian side in a central formation he was again fantastic. Against Bilbao he scored a great goal. When used more on the left he becomes more ineffective as he is less on the ball and can't run the game. It's not all about having 2 tough tacklers there. When we get the ball we have to do something with it. Witts is your man. He must play next to Mental so that we cam have 2 wide players to complement the team as an attacking force.
