Will CCS be like Selhurst....

Mon Aug 19, 2013 11:23 am

Was impressed by the atmosphere and how they did the Saw thing before ko.

Will we do anything similar, or will it just be an inflatable sheep and Men of Harlech lol

I hope we do something impressive cos although Palace lost it certainly lifted the fans

I doubt we'll have a display, we never do. But the place will be rocking :malky:

Palace fans are just Ultra wannabes with someone banging a drum for 90 minutes, glad we're not like them.

We don't need a display to lift the atmosphere as it will be bouncing due to the fact it's our first ever home game in the Premier League and we're playing Man City. Gutted I won't be there though.

Now there's an idea - the Decibel League - where clubs compete against each other over the course of the season to produce the highest average decibel reading (per unit attendence) and the winning club receives a trophy and a financial prize too.

You can't just organise something to create an atmosphere FFS. It's the makeup of the club and the fan base that dictates the atmosphere. Let's face it, a large part of the attendance is made up of "new fans" and family. It takes time. That's why away days are such a great atmosphere with a few thousand of the same mind.

A massive flag? That'll give our boys a boost and intimidate the opposition .... NOT.
I admire your passion. I believe that it will be a great atmosphere on Sunday, first home game, full house and live on Sky etc. I'll be giving my all and getting behind the boys for the 90 minutes. Let's hope it carries us through the rest of the season.
