John V Taylor

Mon Aug 19, 2013 9:37 am

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are for Left back v man City.

Going to be a tough job for whoever plays of course, but i really like the look of john, thought he had a good game on Saturday and would stick by him.

Certainly didnt do anything to warrant being dropped. :ayatollah:

Who is Anthony Taylor?

Taylor first choice every time at the moment.

I agree. I'd like to see Brayford and Hudson too. We need to have a solid back four who are used to playing together if we want to make it and I think this may be it...

I'm going for a 1-1 draw, we need to make sure that they're intimidated.

Definitely Taylor at the moment, with Brayford, Hudson and Caulker.

Don't know who this Anythony fellow is but he must be good he is winning the vote!

Seriously though although John has done well I think Taylor will be 1st choice.

Taylor and it's not even close. John is a great prospect but Taylor was outstanding last season in my opinion and it will be at least another season before he's overtaken by John.

As well as john did in the last game Taylor gets my vote, declan has a lot to learn and isn't up yo Andrews standards yet. Agree that brayford should start sumday

I think John maybe a bit to inexperienced to deal with navas
Taylor gets turned to easy against quick wingers
Personally I would play gunnarsson there he is more than capable of playing full back and play mutch next to medel as the defensive midfielders .

Lets not forget John is inexperienced at this level whereas Taylor has and is on the back of a key role of a side that won the league, John has plenty of time to cement his place in the team

John has the pace, but I think we'll need an accomplished LB with experience for his. Amdrew Taylor any day

New signing, far better than his brother Andrew.
