Cornelius for 9.5 million or charlie austin for 4 million ?

what would you go for? given the option = which we obviously never had.

but on comparison as players you would expect the championship to be harder than the danish league, yet one man is valued 5 million more.

Only time will tell but if malky thinks he's worth it then that's good enough for me.

Tough one to be fair, Austin still pretty young and scored goals for fun in the championship last season. Same with Cornelius in a similar standard league? I think the Danish Tank will go on to be a mega player in a few years time though so it's Cornelius for me

We need a winger or two and a proven striker IMO.

You could atleast give Cornelius a chance, he hasn't even played a competitive game for us yet.

He might end up being a Premier League top goal scorer, time will tell.

A striker is only as good as the service he receives, definitely need some play-makers to provide service to whoever we are going to play up front on their own.

our midfield is far too deep and we seem afraid to commit anyone forward.

Our full backs wont cross the half way line and its impossible to do anything in the premier league without full backs who are comfortable on the ball. I dont understand why we havent used the spanish market more.

Agree, Cornelius has not kicked a ball in the Premier league yet. Give the bloke a chance. Let him play a dozen games and then make a judgement. He may need time but clearly MM and the club saw great potential in him to pay that sort of money and clearly thought that he had it to perform in the top flight.

Lets hope that he starts knocking a few goals in.

Lewandowski makes his own goals. He is the second best striker in the world after Van Persie at the moment.
