A mate of mine was at Newport train station when some Rovers fans jumped off a train, giving it the big one. One of them pushed an old granny - she was in her 80s - and my mate was fuming and had a few words with him, then the coppers came along and arrested the big, bullying lump. His day finished early.

Bristol Rovers' Gas Hit Squad did nothing really, except for press themselves up close against the Police. They must love the police down here, basically shagged them. Loads of mini-aggro, but in truth most of the Rovers lot didn't expect soo many Newport lads to be on the street. A lot of Bristol Rovers fans were attacked after the game in town walking through the back-streets, but that was idiotic as most of them didn't want it - shirters.
