It's good to see fishing reports on hear, I love my fishing 2nd to my Cardiff ..... maybe we should Get a forum outing going as there are a few that like to get out on hear

I fished Knap Point in Barry yesterday ( Nickerinos rock) hoping for a good session as about 2 weeks ago I fished friars point deeps, Barry and drew a blank !

I got there a bit earlier than normal and was surprised to see a few rods already fishing, however, I managed to get my rock (I think it's because it's right in the middle and a mare to get to). Wind from the West so my spot was totally shielded.

Never had such a busy session (2 rods), I got 9 dogs and 2 whiting. Three dogs (I think) came off half way up and I missed quite a few other bites as I was landing with the other rod !!! One of these bent my rod in half to the point I had to stop landing the fish on rod one to go and rescue rod two which was on the verge of being taken into the water. 2 of the dogs were a very healthy size.

Only one dog and one whiting caught by all the other rods (8).

Sun was out so a nice day had.
