WILL MALKY EVER DROP BELLAMY??

Sat Aug 17, 2013 7:48 pm

Great player, that almost goes without saying, but years and years of knee problems and the arduous treatment required is bound to take its toll. It's a credit to him he's managed to perform at such a high standard for so long. But the last year has shown the injuries have caught up with him. Giggs is different, still doing it but he's been much luckier with injures.

Bellamy can do the running around, but he can't produce it with all the grace and skills he used to have. Now he's become ineffective and today's performance was typical of any in the last year.

Plenty of others struggled today, but I'm not sure Bellamy has any more gears. I'm equally unsure Malky has the even a passing thought about dropping him. Not sure that's right.

Bellamy was so wasteful today. His long free kicks, his corners everything. terrible. Even Kim wasnt great, im not even going to get started on Connolly and turner

The only problem is there's no one in the squad to replace him.

Realistically we need 3 top class wingers as none of the current crop are good enough.

Bellamy had 3/4 crosses today and he fucked everyone of them up,I worry .he just does not seem the player we used to know,We need Bellamy playing at the top of his game but at the moment he is a shadow of his former self.

Whitts was far better than both Bellers and Kim. Along with Medel only He and Whitts kept the ball.

Kim at fault for 1st goal and Bellers set pieces were shocking.

Why is Bellamy taking set pieces at all? Whittingham should be taking them and if not him then Taylor when he's in the side.

Im not denying both were poor but Whitts was completely ineffective all game. Barely did shit all and refused to run at people. I blame more the fact that he was being played out wide so we had no pace. Malky has to address both the fullback and width problem

Whitts game isnt to run at the full back ffs!!!

At least he kept the ball when nothing was on unlike Bellamy or Kim.

Fed up people blowing off Kim and hating on Whitts. Whitts had a far better game rhan Kim or Bellamt.

Bellamy was awful.

I didnt mean constantly run at fullbacks but he had a few times where he was running through the middle and instead of attacking the centre halfs before shooting he just took the shot and it went no where. He's wasted out wide as we have no width then. Kim was sloppy today and bellamy cant seem to cross a ball any more
