very defensive set up from start. getting ripped to shreds best part of the half was the last 2 mins .

connolly not coping well at full back.

kim not playing well either.

we have just sat back to much whereas west ham have pressured us from the start

Connolly hasn't been great has he. Kim sees to be wasteful today aswell. A kick up the ass and a Cabell double will set things right

I'm only following it on sky sports app (sat in an outside bar in south of France!) but we have more possession and sky stats I trust so we doing ok there against one of the best home sides, but getting murdered in duels won so getting nothing attacking

Kim looks shit after all ive heard on here about him. Your defence is weak and vulnerable from set pieces. Bellamy seems to have lost a lot of pace since I last saw him. Medel is almost like another center back rather than a midfielder. and thats about it.

Declan John looks promising if a little naive but thats what you expect from a boy his age.

Connolly definitely not his best when playing at right back, and we definitely need to get another winger signed asap. Thought we look much better when playing through the middle keeping the ball on the floor and playing through Kimbo.

Bellamy seems to be doing the opposite to Kimbo & Our defence are not marking their man. If we can fix this, I can see Campbell getting us an equalizer

if we keep the ball down and keep possession we will have a chance of getting a goal back.

Long way to go yet. Perhaps some of our plastic new fans need to have some realism after reading some comments. The full backs today are not first choice and we know they can be improved. I am more concerned with Malkys defensive shape. We have not had a shot yet. Whilst it is only 1v0 there still a lot to play for.

Been weak on right hand side Connolly looking exposed, not helped br Bellamy hardly tracking back. Ball retention very poor bar once where we passed it well finishing with a Bellamy shot being blocked.
Think Kim has taken up some excellent positions but end product poor.
West Ham happy to launch it long into our box where they look a threat ( thank God Carroll's injured), we need to press more further up pitch and show conviction.
I expect a much better second half & I'm sure sure Malky will too!

Why is Whittingham at LM and Bellamy RM? Would be better with Bellamy LW and Kim RW cutting in and Whitts behind striker in CAM.
