Medel - Work Permit?

I heard tonight we were still sweating on his permit being approved to play tomorrow?

I understand we had until 5pm tonight to enable him to play tomorrow.

Does anyone know if this has been granted yet?

There was a delay in him arriving in the UK earlier in the week (from the chile v denmark friendly) as he didn't have a visa in his passport and his Mrs had to get his other European passport, fly to Denmark to give it to him so he could then fly to, and enter, the UK!

Malky said in his interview on SSN that Medel had is work permit sorted while in Denmark on international duty. It's sorted and he's in the squad.

If he is back in the country then he has had his work permit.

I'm going to have a shot of JD for every one of these threads.

Yea NJ73 is right, you aren't allowed to be in the country when you apply for a work permit. He was back in the country yesterday and trained with the rest of the lads.

what happened to the "other" signing anyway? the other one in the bag so to spk, was it something to do with image rights thats delaying it? taking sometime eh....
