Travel advice after West Ham game

Fri Aug 16, 2013 12:24 pm

Hey guys

after the game tomorrow im travelling down to Surrey to visit family now I need advice would it be easier to travel through London or go round the M25? travelling through London would save me 20 miles but dont want to get bogged down in London and I dont want to be trapped on the M25 either lol.

Any advice would be grateful of what the traffic maybe like

I used to live in Croydon mate and the M25 should be fine as its a Saturday. In fact my Dad will be doing the same. He's parking up in Upminster as its not far from the m25 and getting the tube along to Upton Park. :ayatollah:

I used to visit Newham Council in my last job - whatever you do do NOT hack your way through London! Agree with previous poster, get out to the M25 as soon as.

your parking thing looks a good deal - how near to Upton Park is it?

M25 then lol, the closest one I could book was a mile from the ground but cant complain for £8 and thats all day so. Did the same scheme at Crystal Palace last year and its an absolute lifesaver you dont have to worry about finding a space just turn up.
