Aly Cissokho: Liverpool agree loan deal to sign left-back from Valencia

Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Aly Cissokho on loan from Valencia.
However, the 25-year-old left back, who has one France cap, will not be available for the opening match of the season against Stoke on Saturday.
He is expected on Merseyside next week to finalise a move which could become permanent next summer.
Manager Brendan Rodgers had wanted to sign another left back, Guilherme Siqueira from Spanish club Granada, but the clubs failed to agree a fee.

Grenada trebled their valuation for Siqueira, hence why Liverpool brought in Cissokho

Terrible decision by Cissokho. All he'll be doing now is talking about perms and the good old days in the 80's. Oh well, his decision.
