Will we make fools of the Press and TV football pundits?

They are virtually all to a man predicting we will go straight back down. Just what we need to hear I reckon, gonna love watching these same pundits choke on their words come May 2014

just read another thread that says 4 pundits think we will be ok, who do it believe!

Every pundit I've heard have predicted that we'll be okay.

Collymore predicted us to be 19th... the rest say we will be okay..

Bookies got us 4/7 to stay up.
Pundits seem to reckon our in experience will let us down. I think we'll be scrapping, but on paper we look to have as good a chance as 6 or 7 teams

Its all pretty much guessing at best. Weve never played in the PL, so no one really knows for sure how we'll do.
Winning the championship isnt a guarantee that you'll do well but we go into the West Ham game as winners with a winning mentality. We have added some good players but kept the nucleus of the team and this I think will help rather than hinder us.
Theres a load of other factors as well, like form. We dont want to lose the first few games, West Ham away is a tough opening fixture but its not like we have never won there is it! And any result against Man C or Everton at home would give the boys a helluva confidence boost.
Injuries and suspensions (or lack of) will be key as well.
The main bit for me is our gaffer. He is going to playing chess for 38 games with the other managers. I hope he's good at chess anyway!

Best time to make predictions is Sept 1st. All clubs have played a few games and the transfer window is shut, i'll take a pundits opinion more seriously then to be fair.

Pat nevin said we definitely go down. ! Palace snd Sunderland seems to be every one's fav to go down.
