A forum for all things Cardiff City

The "downsizing" of the PSG's operation could well start with Momo Sissoko, the former captain Paris captain moving to Cardiff. The Welsh club were promoted to the Premier League this season. Earlier this week, he refused an offer from the Greek side Olympiakos Piraeus as no financial agreement was agreed. He was offered to several Italian clubs (Napoli and Inter) with his name circulating in Serie A but there were no concrete proposals.
The Franco-Malian could be seduced by the charms of the English Premiership that Cardiff City can offer. A decision is imminent.

Interesting!!! - another defensive midfielder. Looks like Malky is going for the tactic of making us hard to beat. Good experienced pro is Sissoko - good signing if it comes off.

He's a power house and a good player, if we got him our chances of staying up would go up significantly. He's nt a great footballer far more of an enforcer. If a deal can be done it'd be great, but following Liverpool, Juventus and PSG - There's no way we can match his wages is there?

Been doing the rounds on Twitter for a while.Looks as if there may well have been contact.

But where will Momo Sissoko this season? Malian seeks a way out to revive his career.
Le Parisien said he refused an offer from Olympiakos (Greece) and it would be about engaging with Cardiff (England). It has also been proposed in Italy. Stay tuned.

My only concern with him is that he has a history of dodgy knees. If he's over that then he would be a great signing. Is Malky going for a two man defensive enforcer in front of the back 4?

A 4-2-3-1 formation would make us difficult to break down (IF Sissoko signed) and we have the ideal midfield for attacking on the break.

Hmmm looks like this is a deal that can be done quickly another one for Malky under the Radar by the looks

Depends how much we're paying for him. Could also mean the end of Gunnarsson(only assuming)

Being suggested he may have his contract terminated to facilitate the move. Elsewhere £4m being mentioned

I wouldn't mind him on a free, 4m is ok I guess, he's 28 and played at the highest level for quite a bit

This would be a great signing. Was impressive at Liverpool a few years back and played at a high level lots of experience and a top class player.
Would definitely make us a hard team to beat, medel and sissoko would make life a nightmare for the attacking talent in the premier league
