Miller was brilliant for us. Every game he ran his guts out with very little support. He showed tonight what a good pro he is. I would loved to have still seen him with us last season, he would have been even better in a better team with better players around him. The stick he had while he was with us was disgusting, fans criticising his lack of goals when he's dropping deep to link the play in a lone striker role and making runs down the channels restricted the number of times he could get into dangerous goalscoring positions.

Unfortunately, some of us forget the good Miller did for us such as scoring against Blackburn to put us in the semis and concentrate on that miss against Liverpool in the final, although some of us fail to realise that Miller's superb off the ball movement and great first touch set that chance up for him in the first place and most other strikers would never have been able to create that chance for themselves.

Agreed. He was promised a targetman and never got it.

He ran his bollock off in the 2nd leg v Palace, got McCarthy sent off and nearly scored.

His movement was second to none on times.

I thought we should have kept Kenny Miller, his work rate was impressive especially as a lone striker on many occasions
