Sorry to put a damper on things but will we still be laughing when he's suspended for most of the season. Hope it does not come to that but his track record is shocking and British refs love sending off players with a reputation. Can a person really change their spots? I prey malky can sort him out.

Everyone keeps on mentioning this. How do people know that he won't calm down and be level headed? He's a quality player, let's enjoy his quality he brings to the team.

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't his 3 sendings offs last season a fair shoulder barge (when he kicked the plastic chair), Fabregas' theatrical fall holding his face and when he lashed out and slapped Canas? The sending off against Canas was the only sending off, the other 2 were a bad refereeing decision and Fabregas conning the ref, so hopefully he's improving.

Might sound crazy, but I don't want him calming down. His competative, tenacious style is what makes him the player he is imo. Take this out of him and he will only be half the player. He's fine while playing, he just needs to stop being silly with his temper with off the ball incidents like the Fabregas and Canas sendings off.

Exactly so, that's what is so funny about it, Spain is full of theatrical divers trying to con the ref. It's less likely to happen over here, the game is more physical and you will take a load of fouls, some go amiss. I love his passion from what I've seen, he's someone that will definitely love to represent Cardiff City

It doesn't matter if he calms down and is level-headed if his 'reputation' has gone before him though does it. That's what a reputation is, it's what has happened before.....
