I know you didnt put a link up. I asked where you heard that because its the first time Bale would have gone public and OTM put a link to ESPN. I said to him that there were no direct quotes from Bale in that link so probably Real spin.

How funny would that be. Total stalemate, Madrid not upping their bid, Spurs not prepared to sell and Bale refusing to play. He's currently holed up in Cardiff so punted to us on loan.

Tony you need to checkout the history of the club to find that out. Real Madrid was used as a political porn by Franco and the reason they were all white is because Franco wanted to send out a message that the white race was better than any other. As the club become more and more succesfull then Franco ensured that they would be so much part of his propaganda machine then it would be more or less an 'unoffical' government department and that hasn't really changed now beecause the government will always financially back up the club.
