5 reasons Why Bale should do Batman.

1, HOW DO THEY EXPLAIN A NEW BATMAN?

If Christian Bale doesn’t return, how exactly will they explain it? Will we have another huge backstory repeating what we already saw in Batman Begins? Doing it all over again is something fans don't need.

Sure, we know Batman’s origins and what made him become the Batman. However, bringing a new actor on board will require a whole new back story to build up an emotional connection with the character. Since Christopher Nolan already brought an amazing Batman to the screen, this generation may not be ready to let that go just yet.

Batman may be an iconic character, but leaning on that alone would be a classic mistake.

2, FANS ARE COMFORTABLE WITH BALE

For a movie to be good, you need to develop a connection with the actors in it. Most people have already built done that with Bale ever since Batman Begins. This man grew into the hero we know and love. We watched his pain, watched him suffer, and watched him lose just about everything.

Throw in a new actor who nobody has yet seen as Batman and since most people won’t have the same connection already, it’s going to be two hours of some stranger in tights running around with Superman. Not to mention, admittedly we will all be comparing him to Bale's flawless performance.

3, A NEW BATMAN WOULD BE TARGETTED..

Simply put, it’s just too soon for a new Batman. A new actor will likely be ripped apart. Even Tom Hardy was criticized by fans comparing him to Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker, and they weren't even playing the same villain!

Caught up in hating on the new Batman, it will take away the focus of the movie and result in another poorly reviewed movie that didn't deserve it. This movie most likely be a great film but it needs Christian Bale.

No matter how good somebody might pull off playing Batman or Bruce Wayne, never again will you be able to watch somebody else wearing Batman's suit without thinking to yourself, "Bale was still the best Batman ever."

4, COULD BALE BE REPLACED?

We've listed potential "Batman Replacements" but can you really see any one of them replace Christian Bale without the movie feeling like a cliche Batman flick from the 90's?

There are some great actors out there who could pull off the look, but not anyone who can come remotely close to Bale. It's not like he's gotten too old to continue the roll either.

This goes for Henry Caville as Superman too, or Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man or Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. They've found the perfect fit for an iconic character.

Christian Bale IS the Batman.

5, IS BALE THE BEST BAT?

Many actors have portrayed Batman over the years. Some were so bad that most of us like to pretend it never happened. But then came Christian Bale. The way he portrayed Batman was spot on. He added more depth to Bruce Wayne and he added more gritty realism, terror and anger to Batman.

Put simply, he needs to return as Batman in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. If not for the sake of the movie than please for the sake of the diehard fans who aren’t ready for a new Batman..
