Montero, not that impressed.

Tue Aug 13, 2013 9:26 am

I know it is only a you tube clip.

But it appears he tries tricks and out running defenders, but there seems to be no end product.
He also goes down very easily (although the jerks will say that is good play as it draws the foul).
His worst trait is waving imaginary cards at the ref to get people booked.

He has also had 2 years on loan in La Liga (2 different clubs), but not settled and none of them want him.

As I say just what I have seen on you tube, so perhaps best not to judge only on that.

You can apply that to most footballers, it's just the once or twice when they do come off they win you games!

when will people learn not to judge players (either way) on youtube!

if we sign him wait and see then. For a reported 3m i dont really see it as a massive gamble.

You are correct. But it just really annoys me. Zaha is another example of this type of player. I just wish the refs would be more consistent in their punishments and the FA use video evidence to ban them after the match. It would help to wipe it out.

That's why I said it was only a you tube clip - so no real evidence, but it was trying to show his best bits.
If the price is £3m then he is worth taking the chance, as Zaha was £15m and looks about the same type of player.

In his opinion (dont laugh) he thinks he's world class on 1 v 1 situations. he just glides past his opposition and tears defences apart :ayatollah: :malky: :D

Well he tore Argentina a new arse. His end product looks like it needs working on but

Price Tag is irrelevant, he was a massive flop even against the relatively weak bottom end of la liga. Woohoo billybigballs scored a hatrick vs a third world special needs team. After the hype this guy will probably be behind Nooney in terms of flair
