Elation

I want to sum up how i feel today.......

The days have taken a crisp feel,
every sense is intensified,
every taste a dance of emotion on my taste buds
every touch unravels in my finger tips revealing secrets galore
every smell causing an endorphin rush to my racing mind
every sound a harmony broken down to sing a soaring chorus
every sight bordered by the rose tints of elation

Life feels like fresh green apples picked on a spring morning
Grass is greener, the sky is bluer the air is cleaner

and those senses,
those senses overcome me,
they stare me in the face,
they taunt me,
they encourage me,
they smile at me

those senses give me the feeling of elation
the root cause of this elation
the reason for this accentuation
the augmentation of this elation
