Had my ST today, and caught the posty as he turned up at my house. He said: "it has been at the sorting office since wednesday". I then asked why it wasn't posted on that day? His reply was that, 'there was loads of them that came at the same time, so they decided to deliver them on the same day.' Because, and this is the best one, we are all Cardiff Fans in the sorting office, so we decided to give them all out at the same time! FP What can you say to that!

Years ago I used to work for the Post Office and in my day you were sacked for delaying the mail like that not to mention it is technically a criminal offence, wankers.

agree 100% ,my brother in law is a postman in Caerphilly and they purposely hold back mail so they can finish early,thats just one example of what goes on.

still waiting for mine ordered. batteries on the net yesterday got them this morning ordered ticket last February still waiting

99.9 % of posties are the the most trustworthy people you could meet.
If your season ticket hasn't turned up yet blame the club not Royal Mail.
It's not like anyone else can use them anyway.

I like the Royal Mail. I prefer for things I order to be sent by them than any other because they are fast and reliable. They've never lost anything of mine. Most things sent first class arrive next day. Plus if you're not in you can go and collect from the local sorting office and not some warehouse on an industrial estate 30 miles away.

The tories will end up ruining it like they do with all public services when they get their way and privatise though.

Wait until the post office is sold off,then you'll see some fun. One delivery a week in the city, none up the valleys,you'll have to collect it from the local Chinese or summit like that, or wherever they decide to drop it off.lol

Remember how they told us by getting rid of the second post would improve our service greatly.....they now turn up at 5pm some days.....something's got to give because its not the fine service it once was.

I'm a traditionalist and like my post delivered by 7am, that is when I wake up of a day. And then I like to have a decent dump whilst opening the Mail. Feck this receiving it at 5 in the evening lark!!
