I think they want people to buy tickets first before players start to drop out. It makes sense.

typical they drop out, but in all honesty the date of these fixtures is just ridiculous and no wonder they dont want to be risked.

I agree bad timing.
It used to be playing for your country meant everything to a player,not any more Imo,a player now puts his club first in most cases probably because of the pressure put on players by their clubs.

International friendlies in the mid week before the season starts is a disgrace and sums up the twats that arrange international dates.
If I had my way friendlies would not be played in the season.
