So our first 11 seems to be coming together quite nicely, but our squad is it really strong enough for a long season of premiership football ?

I think our squad will be fine judged on the signings we have made, still 2/3 off a strong squad.

I think there's a negativity gene in all City fans after so many years of missing out. But I'm really looking forward to this season now and think we'll do really well.

Agreed I saw him play on the weekend and thought he did very well. A few mistakes but overall very good. He needs first team experience soon in order to progress as a player. I'd give him a few PL starts this season and certainly in the cup games and see how he goes.

Spurs were/still looking at him back in one transfer window.

He is young and will not be a world beater at this age. Still learning but he broke in and showed MM he can do a job. Young fullbacks are breaking in as young as 17/18 in the Prem and are becoming big stars with potential like Ben Davies, Luke Shaw and Kyle Walker. They are all brilliant attacking wise but still quite poor defensively but still will progress and learn.

Young players are breaking in at ages of 17 now and he can be a top fullback if he can break into the Prem and hold his place in the team.

I think John didn't have a good game but his talent is raw looks a good player, what he needs is experience, if we use him hopefully we can fast track him because the mistakes he made against Bilbao would have easily turned into goals in the prem, someone is gonna have to help him when he plays, that said he looks a brilliant player the academy needs to keep this up Nugent, O'Sullivan, John and helped progress Ralls too looking good for the future.

I think we need an extra option in a quality winger that can play either side to keep the competition going and maybe as a replacement when Bellamy cant play, Nooney would also benefit from it, if we can keep our strikers out of injury i see no reason to get another striker we have got Campbell, Maynard, Cornelius, Mason, Bellamy and Gestede dont laugh when i say Gestede but if you want some height when we get crosses in the box, if we got Cornelius and Gestede in the box no matter what happens thats a real threat.
