Just watching the Leicester and Leeds game, now I'm not saying we should sign him, but I have always liked him playing and never understood why Jones got rid of him? Can't believe he's still only 23....still think he will make a Premier League player one day.

He was on loan to us from Man U.

No way a Premier League standard player right now but he has improved a lot since leaving us.

He was on loan, but as I recall he was available for a free immediately after he left, so we could have gone for him.
On a free/cheap wages, I would have gone for him back then. But as you say, not any more.
