Formation: 4-2-3-1 (left to right)
GK: Marshall
LB: Taylor
CB: Caulker
CB: Hudson
RB: Brayford
DM: Gunnarsson
DM: Medel
LAM: Bellamy
CAM: Whittingham
RAM: Kim
ST: Cornelius
MEDEL and Gunnarsson holding will allow Whittingham to be more attacking. Whittingham can play left wing to overlap and allow Bellamy to go inside and can cross. Kim can also cut inside and play. Basically all those 3 in behind Cornelius are interchangeable but also Bellamy and Kim have good work rates to help out.
Whittingham only needs to drop deep enough to collect the ball from Medel or Gunnarsson and restart attacks. This formation can also become a 4-3-3 with ease as Whittingham drops into CAM and head of a 3 pronged midfield as Bellamy goes LW and then bring on a new winger.
For that reason is say a winger is a priority at the moment so hopefully the Montero deal gets done or we get one in and even better if they can play both wings to provide cover if Bellamy picks up a knock.
Then a LB should be a priority. No offence to Taylor but we should get better in and use him as back up.

Said in another thread that formation away from home.
At home unless its v the big 4 then id drop Gunar out for a winger and put Kim behind the striker.
Need a left back, a winger and being greedy another striker.

I'd rather see Kim Attacking midfield with a new player out wide with Bellamy.
Then depending on the team gunnar or whitts alongside Medel.
I think Whitts is a little wasted either to far forward or to defensive.

I would like to see this but it won't happen
--------------------Marshall-------------------
Brayford----caulker--Hudson-----????????? New signing
----------------------medel-------------------
-----kimbo------ --Bellamy---- whittingham
-------------Campbell----cornelius-----------
Looks strange with Bellamy in the middle but I believe a free role for him behind the front 2 instead of stuck out on the wing , combined with his and medels work rate in the middle would be fantastic .
Add to that the skill and passing abilitys of Kim and whitts and we could be very dangerous .
The left back will be who it will be I'm sure we will know by Saturday .

my team would be
GK Marshell
RB Brayford
CB Hudson
CB Caulker
LB ?
DM gunna
CM Whits
AM Kim
LW Bellers
RW ?
ST Campbell
I dont think taylor will handle the pace of wingers in prem he will be good for the bench as back up. Also when fit cornelious and medel in for gunna and campbell. I think a new winger is much needed someone who can beat a man and put danger balls into 6ft+ cornelious to get on the end of. Conway aint got the pace to beat a man in prem, tommy smith aint good enuf for prem.I think noone would be good enuf for back up on the bench

I don't think its a very good idea having a lone striker we all know what happened with Miller he had no support upfront. Cornelius should be playing off someone like Maynard or Campbell or possibly Bellamy. Cornelius is not very experienced and a young lad he will be lost upfront by himself. I'd play a 433 formation at home and maybe a 451 away from home

For me its :
GK : Marshal
RB : Brayford
CB : Huds
CB : Caulker
LB : Taylor
DM : Gunnar
DM : Medel
LAM : Whitts
CAM : KIm
RAM : Bellers
ST : Cornelius
I would like another winger and would replace bellamy with them and also a player a bit like kim that can play as an attacking midfielder or a winger. I would just stick with kim for that but I think we need to go 4-5-1 against better teams and kim needs to be behind the striker then and I also think kim is fairly weak out wide
Sun Aug 11, 2013 6:28 pm
Marshall
Brayford
Caulker
Hudson
Taylor
Noone( new winger is desperately needed)
Whitts
Medel
Bellers
Kimbo
Cambell/Cornelius
