I think its a perfect signing not just for the obvious reasons. He is 26 and can teach gunnarsson a lot. I think gunner will be a key player. And if he does get a couple of reds, gunner can easily play the holding role alone

Likes his slide tackles, my only fear would be how petulant some of the English refs are for going off your feet

He's got a bit of history with Canas too as pitbull got sent off in the Seville v Betis derby last season which finished 3-3. Canas went down holding his face after an altercation with Medel and the red card was show to the pitbull.

Tasty game with Betis getting a last minute equalizer and the scorer flipping the bird to the home fans. Best game IMHO of the La Liga season.
