West Brom receive striking boost as Clarke agrees loan for ex-Watford loanee Vydra

Steve Clarke is set to add Matej Vydra to West Brom's squad after agreeing a loan for the striker.
The Baggies' head coach is expected to tie up a deal for the Udinese forward in the next 24 hours.
Vydra is understood to have undergone a medical over the weekend and will add competition up front after being named as the Championship's player-of-the-year when at Watford last season.
West Brom have also renewed their interest in winger Scott Sinclair following failed attempts to lure Salomon Kalou from Lille.
The Black Country club is unwilling to pay a transfer fee for the Manchester City player but negotiations continue between the two parties.

Anelka is going to be quality for them this season! He's already scored 7 in 7 of the preseason friendlies!

We are light upfront we could do with another i reckon.
Maynard is sick note and cannot see him cutting it tbh.
Rudy not good enough for this level.
Mason think he's more of a Kim role behind the main man, not a prolific striker as such.
That leaves Campbell, who has had injuries and jurys out this level, although hes been faultless so far for us so wont wrtie him off, and Corny who looks like hes going to be the real deal but again unproven at this level. Plus hes very young to be the main man with all responsibility on his shoulders.
Hope Malky can pull one out of the bag.

As said in another post, a bid for Defoe got to be worth a try
