Normally announced weeks before first game

there are no squad numbers, they've just realised they are red and no one can see them - honest!

They have until Friday to announce them, but the club expects to do so before then.

I saw a kid there yesterday in a red shirt with the number 9 and cornelius on the back. Dunno if that qas a guess or his dad's had some inside info

Medel usually wears the number 8. Unless Cowie's feeling kind enough to give that up then he'll have to have another. He wore 24 once aswell I believe so it may be that.

No one wore their 'squad' numbers in pre season games, just numbered shirts. Bellamy was 10 yesterday. Usually they're numbered 1-11 for starting line up then 12+ on the bench I believe
