Cardiff/Swansea premier 11

Sun Aug 11, 2013 9:33 am

Loving some of the debate on here about which Ccfc players would get in the jbs 11 and vice versa.
In my opinion the best combined 11 is
Vorm
Brayford
Caulker
Williams
Davies
Kimbo
Pitbull
Hernandez
Bellamy
Michu
Bony
Subs
Marshall
Chico
N Taylor
Britton
Whitts
Campbell
Routledge

Rangel was outstanding last season yet you have someone in who was playing for derby last season, also dyer had a better season than hernandez keep trying tho you'll get there one day. :thumbright:

Re: Cardiff/Swansea premier 11

Gk - Vorm

DR - Rangel
DC - Williams
DC - Chico
DL - Davies

WR - Dyer
DMC - Pitbull
MC - Shelvey
AMC - Michu
WL - Routledge

SC - Bony

And thats me being honest. Was clise call between Chico and Caulker.

Re: Cardiff/Swansea premier 11

Sun Aug 11, 2013 9:57 am

Vorm

Rangel Williams Caulker Davies

Medel Shelvey

Kimbo Michu Bellamy

Bony

Haven't really seen enough of Swansea to state firmly though, I imagine Dyer or Routledge would probably beat Bellamy and Kim to places.

I doubt any of your players would make a Swansea /Cardiff 11

Caulker would be close to chico and pitbull would be close with britton IMO

Re: Cardiff/Swansea premier 11

Sun Aug 11, 2013 10:11 am

Marshall

Brayford Hudson Caulker (A) Taylor

Smith Medal Kim Bellamy

Campbell Cornelius.

Re: Cardiff/Swansea premier 11

Sun Aug 11, 2013 10:13 am

1. Vorm

3. Brayford 4. Williams 5. Caulker 2. Taylor (Neil)

6. Medel

7. Wittingham 8. Kim

9. Michu 10. Bellamy

11. Bony

12. Marshall
13. Hudson
14. Davies
15. Shelvey
16. Routledge
17. Dyer
18. Cornellius

Possibly a little biased but thin this would be one hell of a team. Campbell, Gunnarson, Chico, Hernandez and Taylor unlucky not to get in and wouldn't really weaken the team.

Chico was simply outstanding last season his tackling and interception figures at the top of league. Ben davies is in front of Taylor at the moment the lad is class . Whitingham infron of pozuelo, jdg, shelvey is a strange one considering he couldn't get in your side last season. Michu out wide? Nobody has seen the this new bloke so can't comment yet if he is better than canas or leon. So many on here underestimate leon, the guy is a brilliant holding midfielder and plays a critical part in protecting the back four, regaining possession and getting moves started. As as been said a lad who has never played top flight infront of rangel is also a massive call.

The expected bitterness from Wales'second city.

Yesterday's incredible capture of the highest rated DM in La Liga will accelerate what we've known all along about how big a club Cardiff City FC are. Another few major purchases on the way and thanks for the concern, but our already decent squad is about to become extremely powerful. Our midfield soon will consist of Medel, Kim and the magnificent Jefferson Montero. Our back four will be marshalled by the imperious Steven Caulker (But not one of these would get into your side would they :laughing6:

NJ73 and the rest of the bitters say we'll struggle

Yeah, of course we will

BTW, Caulker was immense yesterday. A true rock. No wonder you survived easy enough with that loan

Vorm

Caulker
Ash

Kimbo
Pitbull
Canas
Pozuelu
Hernandez/Dyer
Bony

Re: Cardiff/Swansea premier 11

Here is the truth.
All depends on the way a combined team plays.
If its a pass and move system not one of your players would be in the first 11.
Kimbo may be close as for that pittbull none on eather side of the fence can pic him as he has never played here.
Caulker whould make the bench but chico is a class act with ball at feet and playing our way.
If it was a system you prefer then I think the majority would be from yours! As leon britten proved when he went to sheff utd and failed, but in our system he is top draw.

Add Jefferson Montero to that list soon. Nathan Dyer is excellent in your system, but Montero is rated throughout the world and an established international. We're closing the gap daily

I think this exercise will be best served at the end of the season. Plus, if you don't watch each others side how can you judge who's better than who?

Looks good but a spate of injuries and you will struggle a bit. That's the difference between us and you at the moment. We can play 2 strong teams now as there are 2 for every position. Our bench next week I would imagine is Tremmel, Ki, Jonathan De Guizman, Pozuelo, Taylor, Hernandez, Amat
