Playing line striker.

Sat Aug 10, 2013 11:05 pm

To play the lone striker, we must avoid knocking the aimless ball upfield.
Connelly, on too many occasions, knocked aimless balls up the channel, the ball kept coming back!
Malky knows where we're lackin, today confirmed it.
We're desperate for 2 fullbacks, and I'd say, at least 1 winger.
With these, I'd think we're lookin good.
We got away with playing Connelly at fullback in the championship. We won't b so lucky in the prem! :ayatollah:
Good run out today....I thought Campbell looked the real deal!

Yep, agree. Smashing it upfield may be ok in the Championship, but can't keep giving possession away like that in the Prem, the opposition will have too much quality and will punish us.

Thing is last season we were hoofing the ball upto Campbell, this season will be Cornelius a player built for that type of play. the tank will win everything, and if not El Pitbull will be there making sure we win the ball back ;) :ayatollah: :malky:
