Fulham left-back John Arne Riise has revealed he is likely to leave the club on a free transfer this summer.
The Norway international, 32, has made 75 appearances over the course of two seasons with the Cottagers but manager Martin Jol is prepared to let him move on.
Riise, who won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2005, said: "Yes, it looks like I will be parting company with Fulham this summer.
"Fortunately there is an agreement for there to be no transfer fee, so let's see what the rest of the transfer window brings."
Riise has started two of Fulham's five pre-season friendlies. sharing left-back duties with former Manchester United utility man Kieran Richardson.
Bundesliga side Werder Bremen have already confirmed their interest in taking the veteran to Germany.
Bremen director of sport Thomas Eichin said: "I'm talking to lots of agents and we're checking the market.
"Riise is certainly an interesting player and I have always said that we're on the lookout for a left full-back. There have been talks, but that doesn't mean anything yet."
